Our client is a member of the Recruitment and Consulting Services and Association (RCSA) of Australia and New Zealand. As an Immigration New Zealand accredited labour hire employer, they can bring candidates from overseas to fill skills shortages in local industries.
They require experienced drainlayers to work on a wide variety of residential and commercial drainage, earthworks and civil work, new housing and developments.
Your tasks will include but not limited to;
- Studying blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine the layout of systems and materials required.
- Installing below-ground drainage systems and associated ground support systems.
- Maintain below-ground drainage systems and associated sewerage or effluent disposal systems
- Assisting with assembling and installing piping valves and fittings.
- Cleaning and carrying out repairs on stormwater drains and canals, and checking for cracks and leaks in sewerage systems
Experience Needed To Apply
- Minimum 3+ years experience and/or Trade Qualification
- Class 1 licence
- PGDB registration or licenced – Preferred but not essential
- At least contactable 2 work references
- 100% commitment to Health and Safety
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
- WTR Endorsements - Preferred but not essential
